Skills Bootcamps are free, flexible courses of up to 16 weeks, giving you the opportunity to build up sector-specific skills and an offer of an interview with an employer upon completion. If you’re looking to start a career in Logistics, this course gives you the practical skills and confidence to take your first step. You’ll learn about the key employability skills needed in the logistics’ industry including communication and teamwork. Daily support sessions in English Language will also be provided to teach you the key vocabulary needed to develop key employability and Logistics’ skills. This course suits ambitious individuals who want a hands-on route into work, enjoy practical learning, and are ready to build a future in one of Northamptonshire’s biggest growth sectors. If you are living in the UK, aged 19+, and English is not your first language, our part-time ESOL courses will support you in improving your English language skills. Our courses will help you integrate into your local community, enhance your employment prospects and enable you to progress into further education and training. If you would like to join an ESOL course, please contact the Enrolment Centre on 0300 123 2344 or use the Live Chat feature to request an assessment appointment with an ESOL Tutor. The tutor will assess your level of English by asking you to complete a short piece of writing, having a short conversation and assessing your current grammatical knowledge. They will then advise which level course will be the best for you. After your assessment, you will be able to discuss days, times, costs and any discounts with our Enrolment Centre.
