English for Work – 8 Week Online Course
Develop the English and confidence you need to communicate effectively at work and progress in your career.
Our eight-week English for Work course is designed for learners who already have some English and want to become more confident using it in real workplace situations.
The course goes beyond finding a job and focuses on the English you need to succeed once you are in work.
During the course, you will practise English for:
- Speaking confidently with colleagues and managers
- Understanding and following workplace instructions
- Taking part in meetings and discussions
- Making telephone and video calls
- Writing professional emails and messages
- Asking questions and explaining problems
- Giving your opinions and making suggestions
- Talking about your skills, responsibilities and achievements
- Dealing with customers and colleagues
- Building the confidence to progress at work
Lessons are practical, supportive and focused on real-life workplace communication, with plenty of opportunities to practise speaking and use the English you are learning.

Online via Zoom
This course is ideal if you are already working, preparing to start a new job or looking to progress into a better role.
Students can also join our free Conversation Café, giving you additional opportunities to practise speaking English and build your confidence outside your lessons.
