This course is on Mondays. It is aimed at people whose first language is not English and who have an elementary level of English skills in speaking and listening (Entry 2) All new students must be assessed as working towards Entry Level 2. You must attend an ESOL Initial Assessment which could take up to ninety minutes

If you are living in the UK, aged 19+, and English is not your first language, our part-time ESOL courses will support you in improving your English language skills. Our courses will help you integrate into your local community, enhance your employment prospects and enable you to progress into further education and training. If you would like to join an ESOL course, please contact the Enrolment Centre on 0300 123 2344 or use the Live Chat feature to request an assessment appointment with an ESOL Tutor. The tutor will assess your level of English by asking you to complete a short piece of writing, having a short conversation and assessing your current grammatical knowledge. They will then advise which level course will be the best for you. After your assessment, you will be able to discuss days, times, costs and any discounts with our Enrolment Centre.
